Bread Gulab Jamun
Bread Gulab Jamun is a very awesome recipe and tasty enough to confuse you with Khoya Gulab Jamun.I have learned this recipe from my sister who is a superb cook so without wasting much of your time let's start with the recipe.
Ingredients:
Ø Bread (White/Brown)- 10 pcs
Ø Raisins (Kismis) -10 pcs
Ø Milk -1 cup
Ø Pure Ghee – ½ tea spoon
Ø Sunflower oil for frying
For Sugar Syrup preparation
Ø Sugar -500 grams
Ø Water – 1 cup
Ø cardamom powder (elaichi powder) -1 tea spoon

Cut the brown side edges of the bread and keep it aside.
· Break the bread into small pcs in a Bowl
· Prepare a soft dough using milk and mash it for 10 –15
minutes till its soft.It is very Important step for soft Gulab Jamuns.

Cover the dough with wet cotton clothes and leave aside for 15 minutes

Take a deep bottom pan, and add 1 cup of water ,Switch on the gas stove .
· Once water has boiled ,add 500 grams sugar and make two string syrup on low flame , stir continuously..
· Once syrup is ready ,add cardamom powder & mix it
properly,then turn off the flame.
· Prepare small balls (size of lemon)from dough and make sure there are no cracks in it.Fill raisins inside each ball. ( you can
apply ghee on both palms before making balls.)
· Take a deep bottom pan, add oil (sunflower/ghee) and turn on the
flame then let it heat up for sometime.

Fry all the ready balls until golden red.
· Heat the sugar syrup for a while if its cold, and start putting fried balls into sugar syrup .Make sure that the balls are dipped completely.Once the syrup is hot turn off the flame and leave it for 30 minutes covered.

After 30 minutes Bread gulab jamun is ready to serve.
